Our Municipal Law Group will host a breakfast program for Municipal Administrators and Right-to-Know Officers addressing the life of a Right-to-Know Request.

The program will feature an in-depth review of the Right to Know Law fundamentals for Open Records Officers and municipal employees or officials that regularly are involved in responding to requests for records.

Topics include:

  • Tips for how to maximize efficiency when conducting a records search and responding to a request.
  • Most common reasons to withhold documents from disclosure based on the Right to Know Law exceptions for public records and privilege.
  • The mechanics of Right to Know Law appeals to the Office of Open Records.
