About Maria Kennison
Attorney Kennison is a member of the firm’s School Law Group focusing her practice in all areas of public education.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Maria came to the United States in 2010 after earning B.S. degrees in Environmental Science and Management Information Systems from the Ateneo de Manila University. She worked for several years in the financial services and health insurance industries in areas related to governance, process analysis, and policy and procedure development. She went on to receive a Master’s degree in Knowledge Management and Information Architecture from Kent State University.
Maria then enrolled at The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2018. During her time in law school, she served as a Comments Editor for Dickinson Law Review as well as the Secretary of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. Her internship experience includes work for the Hon. Sylvia H. Rambo of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
