About Jody Anderson Leighty

Mrs. Leighty serves as the chair of the Real Estate Group and Agricultural Industry Group, and also practices in the Estates Group. She regularly counsels clients in the Stewartstown and York Offices. In her day to day work, Jody focuses on guiding individuals and families through the process of buying, selling, refinancing, and leasing property. In addition, she works with clients to develop essential estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Raised in southern York County, Mrs. Leighty received a B.A. from Clemson University and then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary. Upon graduation, she started practicing alongside her father, D. Reed Anderson, at Stock and Leader.

Mrs. Leighty is very active in the community serving on numerous boards and committees. Most recently, Jody was appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for York County Community Foundation and the Northern Central Railway of York. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Pennsylvania Farm Link, W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA and on the grants committee with the York County Bar Foundation.

The Central Penn Business Journal has recognized Mrs. Leighty as one of the regions 30 “Women of Influence” and Central Pennsylvania’s “40 Under 40 Business People.”
