About David M. Walker

Mr. Walker is a Partner in the firm’s School Law Group, concentrating his practice in all areas of public education, including labor and employment issues, school business, construction, contracts, and pupil services matters.

David’s significant experience handling complex school business and labor matters adds to the firm’s unparalleled breadth and depth of services supporting our public education clients. With a degree in special education and previous teaching experience, David has a unique understanding of student issues, labor and employment obstacles, and the day-to-day challenges facing our administrators and boards of school directors.

David regularly presents at conferences, including the National School Boards Association, the Council of School of Attorneys, and the LRP’s National Institute on Legal Issues of Educating Individuals with Disabilities. David also routinely presents on new and emerging issues to school administrators, including school business officials, human resources directors and special education faculty. For three consecutive years, David has been recognized as a Super Lawyer Pennsylvania Rising Star®, an honor awarded to only 2.5% of all Pennsylvania attorneys in the selection process.

David shares the firm’s commitment to community service. He currently serves on the board of directors of Leadership Lancaster and Court Appointed Special Advocates of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

David earned his undergraduate degree from West Chester University and his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. In his spare time, David enjoys skiing, hiking, running, baseball, soccer and golf.
