A Poem from “Your Legal Team in Quarantine”
We cannot go to school today
As told by Gov’nor of PA
He says it may be April 6
Until we get our “in-school” fix
We have a feeling, yes we know
It could be longer – longer so…
Your School Law Group at S&L
Wants to make sure you are well
We know these times are wrought with stress
Of deciding what is best:
Best for students; best for staff
Avoiding press and union wrath
Please know we take yours as our own:
Concern over what is unknown
The burden, strife, and indecision
May not be answered with precision
Because we watch – as we are told –
Unprecedented times unfold
So when you can’t stand one more choice
Know you’re respected for your poise
Your compassion and your care
The time you spend, you’re always “there”
You give up time with family
You’re all for everyone: we see.
And we are here, we’re here for you to
Guide and support in all you do
We’ve got your back, we hope you know
As long as COVID-19’ll go
So here we are, your tried and true
Remote and ready to serve you!
