The Land Bank Authority started its first project in early November with the help of Stock and Leader and the YCEA. Stock and Leader drafted the demolition reimbursement contract and continues to serve as a general solicitor for the Land Bank.
In April 2018, the County Commissioners of York County approved the creation of a Land Bank Authority through a partnership with the Redevelopment Authority of the City of York, YCEA, and the Redevelopment Authority of the County of York. The Land Bank Authority helps to facilitate the conversion of vacant and/or tax-delinquent properties back to productive use. This county-wide authority benefits all municipalities in York County and will help build a bigger, better York.
