Congratulations to all the honorees named to the 2024 Central Penn Business Journal Power Law list, including our own Attorney Neil Slenker!
For two decades, Neil has been a partner at the firm, and for almost half that time, he has served as the Business Practice Group Chair. In that role, Neil is tasked with leading and supporting the firm’s business, employment, and commercial law practice, representing a wide array of clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to public companies. As a member of the firm’s Management Committee, he oversees its operations and strategic growth.
When asked what successes within Neil’s practice stood out to him this past year, he shared,
“The last year marked a continued trend of success for our business and commercial practice as a whole, in terms of the complexity and volume of the transactions successfully handled during the year despite ever-changing and always challenging economic circumstances. I am particularly proud of our ability to adapt to our clients’ needs in that environment as our dedicated attorneys, paralegals, and staff advance business and commerce in the region.”
What emerging trends or challenges does Neil see in his area of law?
“Aside from the constant pressure to react quickly to client needs by providing pragmatic, cost-effective solutions, one of the challenges in 2024 will be the implementation of the Corporate Transparency Act, which will necessitate a significant effort in educating clients on the requirements of the Act.”
