Stock and Leader, LLP is pleased to announce the election of Attorney Kate E. Hynes as a partner of the firm, effective January 1, 2021.
Managing Partner Ronald Hershner stated, “Kate has demonstrated the legal skills and business acumen of a talented business lawyer, able to blend the practical with the complex. Kate has the requisite integrity and commitment to public service integral to being a partner in Stock and Leader.”
Kate is a member of the firm’s Business and Real Estate Practice Groups focusing on business transactions, contract negotiations, leases, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial real estate and finance.
“Over the last seven years, York has become my home, and Stock and Leader has become my work family. As a Partner in the Business Group, I have the opportunity to support the economic growth and vitality of York County in meaningful ways. I share Stock and Leader’s deep commitment to community service, and as a Partner, I know I will be able to make an even bigger impact on causes that matter,” expressed Kate.
Outside of the office, Kate serves as a Board Member for the York Business Improvement District Authority and United Way of York County. She is past president of the York YWCA Junior Board and is a 2015 graduate of the Leadership York Training Program.
Kate received her undergraduate degree from Drexel University. She excelled athletically as a member of the Varsity Diving team and received recognition as Honorable Mention All-American for her performance at NCAA Division I Nationals in 2008 and 2009. Additionally, she was named an Academic All-American by ESPN Magazine.
Kate earned her Juris Doctorate from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University prior to joining Stock and Leader in 2013.
