On January 20, 2021, Dr. Leigh Dalton, Esq., presents Applying Policies, Rules and Compliance Strategies to Virtual and Hybrid Instruction.
Hosted by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association, as part of the collective series which focuses on emerging issues in PA school law practice and the numerous areas of law involved in advising and representing public school entities, Dr. Dalton will address her colleagues, licensed school attorneys.
Dr. Dalton’s session examines how live-streamed and hybrid classes work in practice, and what that means when applying and enforcing rules or policies and maintaining compliance relating to privacy, required notifications to parents, child internet protection laws, attendance policies, and accounting, educational records, acceptable use of devices and networks, dress codes, and codes of conduct, for both the students as well as the teachers and other employees involved in instructional delivery.
