The COVID pandemic forced the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce to cancel their 2020 business awards celebration in November. As a way to recognize their members and in place of an in-person event, during March 2020, the Chamber acknowledges member anniversaries, educators of the year, plus the Her Traditions Women’s Enrichment Award, Small Business of The Year, Entrepreneur of The Year, and Positive Action Award.
As Stock and Leader celebrates our tenth anniversary with the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve the businesses, individuals, and public entities of the Hanover area. Last month, Ron Hershner shared how 2020 was a challenging year; we adapted in some amazing ways. We:
– Conducted real estate statement settlements in parking lots, driveways, and even at picnic tables;
– Completed the first virtual probate of a Will and
– Counseled employers on how to deal with the many issues of COVID
While 2021 will bring its own challenges, but we look forward to addressing those as well.
