When Decisions Matter.

Back to Campus! Attorney Dan McGannon Visits Alma Mater for Employment Law Panel

It wasn’t too long ago that Attorney Dan McGannon was a student at Widener University’s Delaware Law School in Wilmington, Delaware.  But now, he’s headed back to campus to participate in a panel discussion for the school’s Employment Law Society on April 10.

During the event, Dan will join a representative from the U.S. Department of Labor to address hot topics in employment law, recent trends, and the impact of the Trump Administration.

Attorney McGannon is one of the firm’s Business and Employment Lawyers, Municipal and School Attorneys focusing his practice in all areas of labor and employment law.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked as the Administrator for the Delaware Office of Anti-Discrimination (OAD) where he oversaw the intake, investigation, mediation and resolution of employment discrimination charges arising under federal and state EEO statutes. During his tenure, Dan investigated claims of racial and sexual harassment, failures to accommodate and disparate treatment arising under Title VII, as well as claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, and Pregnancy Discrimination Act. Additionally, as the head of OAD’s outreach program, he provided counsel and training to public and private employers, professional associations, and other constituent groups on emerging employment discrimination compliance issues.
