There’s no doubt that Attorney Dan McGannon has plenty of experience when it comes to practicing in employment law.
In fact, prior to joining Stock and Leader, the Widener University Law School grad spent four years as an administrator for the Delaware Office of Anti-Discrimination (OAD) which handles the intake, investigation, mediation and resolution of employment discrimination charges arising under federal and state EEO statutes.
During his time at OAD, Dan was responsible for investigating claims of racial and sexual harassment, failures to accommodate and disparate treatment arising under Title VII, as well as claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, and Pregnancy Discrimination Act.
But it doesn’t stop there.
As head of OAD’s Outreach Program, he was also responsible for providing counsel and training to public and private employers, professional associations, and other constituent groups on emerging employment discrimination compliance issues.
In his new role with Stock and Leader, Dan will continue to build on his employment experience as a member of the firm’s Business and Employment, Municipal and School Law Groups focusing his practice in all areas of labor and employment law.
