Stock and Leader Attorney, Brooke Say, co-presented on Legal Obligations to Students with Disabilities: Both for Preventing and Responding to Student Suicide at the 47th Annual Special Education Law Conference. The conference was held at Lehigh University on Friday May 10th, 2019 and included five different sessions for attendees. Her presentation addressed school district obligations to support students who communicate suicidal intentions and summarized key court cases about student suicide and the role of an IEP or 504 plans. Student Suicide is becoming a hot topic for school districts and educators in the area and special education community.
