For the second year in a row, our Ag Team supported local 4-H students by participating in the York County 4-H Livestock Sale on August 13, 2018.
“We ended up purchasing a 122 lb. market lamb from 4-Her Marlee Shaw who worked extremely hard to raise a high-quality animal,” said Agricultural Attorney and former 4-Her Sarah Doyle.
4-Hers use the money raised for a number of different initiatives like paying expenses incurred while raising the animal, their next project, or even their college fund.
“To be able to assist the 4-H clubs of York and the individual 4-Hers means so much because there were a lot of businesses that did the same for me when I was in 4-H,” Doyle said. “I’m thankful that attorneys at Stock and Leader like Jody Leighty and others understand and see the importance of that.”
