On March 14, 2012, members of the Real Estate and Environmental Groups at the law firm of Stock and Leader addressed a group of 200 + residents concerned with the proposed pipeline project anticipated to run across southern York County. Discussion included:
Rights under the Eminent Domain Power of the Natural Gas Act;
What are residents' rights?;
How can residents be compensated?; and
What is the process?
Stock and Leader, LLP IS NOT affiliated with The Williams Companies, the Oklahoma-based energy company proposing to construct the pipeline across southern York County.
While the defined line is yet to be identified, a number of residential homes in southern York County may be affected.
